Which of the following vehicles from movies/television would you rather own?

DeLorean Time Machine (Back To The Future)
Batmobile (Batman)
General Lee (Dukes Of Hazzard)

I also thought about the A-Team Van, but only if the A-Team came with it as an option. A 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California (Ferris Bueller's Day Off) would also be sweet, but it doesn't quite hit the legendary status of the other cars on this list.

Feel free to write-in a vote as well, I'm sure I missed some. Please limit to (primarily) personal ground transportation.

The Batmobile for sure. It was here in Reno last year for Hot august nights and it really looked cool.

annonymous email love notes?

So someone, probably a guy, who is on my facebook friends list, is sending me emails using a nondiscript address, lazypete. The first one was sweet and cute, the second one was a bit more agressive, opened with the line:

Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moon light?

joker, batman quote. is this a romantic quote? or a threatening quote?

he also seemed angry when i changed my facebook status to: in a relationship with…….(my current boyfriend)

what should i do about these emails? i don't know who it is so i can't block the guy from spying on my facebook profile….

just ask him nicely who he is as if u wanna date him. and then once u know, just do watevr u wanna do.

proofread my essay??

i need to have 750 minimum words i currently have 570 give me some pointers where i can elaborate more or what more i can add etc.

also i wrote this half assed half asleep so i know it probably make sense at parts but thats why your here to help! so bear with me

The Dark Knight vs. The Man of Steel

Behind the mask, the capes, and the costumes lie the alter-egos of Clark Kent and of Bruce Wayne. Many bicker and defend their favorite superhero and reasons why they think he is the best. The truth is that Batman/Bruce Wayne and Superman/Clark Kent are alike, but also differ in various things like social status, alter-egos, and personality.

Let’s take a look at Batman/Bruce Wayne. Batman is Bruce Wayne’s alter-ego, rather than Bruce Wayne being Batman’s. Due to the fact that Bruce was born a normal human being, he wasn’t born Batman he created him. Unlike Clark Kent, also known as Kal-El, who was born Superman, the only thing that changed were his clothes. Bruce was born into a wealthy family, and raised by his biological parents. Kal-El on the other hand, who came to earth in the midst of his planet’s destruction, was adopted by farmers as an infant who weren’t wealthy like the Wayne’s. Clark Kent is your stereotypical nerd, a genius but also very shy when it comes to women, crowds, etc. Bruce, however, is very confident and slightly cocky, and very sociable. From birth Kal-El was destined to be a hero to the people of earth, while Bruce chose to become Batman. After his parents’ murderer was granted parole with the help of crime boss Falcone he realized someone needed to restore balance to the corrupted town of Gotham City. Superman and Batman do have similarities of course. Both heroes had their parents taken away from the very early in life. They also have that one girl they want but can’t have in Batman’s case Rachael Dawes and Lois Lane for Superman. Also since they lost their parents early on they have parent figures, Clark Kent having his adoptive parents and Bruce having Alfred Pennyworth, the family butler. Clark Kent, who is dubbed “The Man of Steel” is exactly that. Bullets do not affect him they merely hit him and fall not piercing through. Superman isn’t perfect though in the presence of kryptonite he loses his powers and is the same as any other person in the world. On the other hand, Batman is entirely human who has no superpowers what so ever, so he can easily die if someone were to be one to get that lucky hit. Don’t get worried too quickly; it’s not that easy since he wears full body armor and a protective helmet which is for safety but also for protecting his identity. Batman is Bruce Wayne’s until he is called out by the “Bat-Signal”. This is not the case for Kal-El who wears his Superman costume underneath all his clothes ready to go out when ever he needs to. Superman serves the whole world, he may live in Metropolis but if there is a crisis going on on the other side of the world he’s there in a matter of minutes; while Batman can only tend to his hometown, Gotham City. Every superhero has to have a nemesis; in Superman’s case we have Lex Luthor. While Batman has many, The Joker, The Riddler, Mr. Freeze, The Penguin, just to name a few.

While Superman and Batman are very different they do have some similarities. The argument of who is the best superhero is will never end, because after all it is your own opinion.

I am not an english teacher however your intro sounds more like a conclusion. I would put it at the end. Develop another Intro stating what you are going to discuss in your essay. Break the main body into a few paragraphs..’Superman and Batman do have similarities of course” could be the start of a new paragraph. Break the topics down into paragraphs. You could write about Kryptonite too.

who is 007? pierce brosnan or daniel craig?

who do u think is the better james bond? daniel craig or pierce brosnan.. pierce brosnan has been known as James bond for years and has reached the status of Sean Connery and Roger Moore, yet he was replaced by a new Bond, Daniel Craig? why was Pierce Brosnan replaced? why was Daniel Craig chosen? so what will be the path of the new Bond Movies? will this be like the new Batman begins, where it totally went 360 degrees from former Batman movies? Casino royale is a prequel does it mean that all Craig movies will be prequel, before he became the ultimate Bond, like Starwars prequel trilogy saga?

too many questions… but one clear answer …. Daniel Craig is thebest bond after Connery… he kicks Brosnan's ass!!

<p>I've got 15 years of trickiness and creativity under my belt. And… according to a questionnaire which I took while sitting in a class I didn't belong in, I have a 75% social desirability. Maybe I should focus my educational aspirations on a psych major so I can sit around all day and answer true / false tests to find out how desirable I am?</p>

<p>What's there to say? Stuck between a rock and a hard place. Literally. I'm that back country hiker who didn't bother to heed the warning signs that read <em>Park Closed: Hungry Wild Ass-Bears Seen Mauling Hikers</em>. I went ahead and ignored the signs, ran into a beastly bear, fell into a Batman lair-like cave as I tried to outrun the bastard, and got myself wedged between hell and a giant boulder. So I have a little extra baggage I have to carry around. The emotional kind. Who doesn't have any of that? The question is where's the lost & found when you need it?</p>

<p>I want to meet someone to pick the bones out of my fish. I hate getting pricked by those damn things during dinner. I also want to meet someone who can tell the difference between Haribo and Black Forest gummi bears based on taste alone. They're not the same dammit!</p>

why did batman join the jla?

he’s supposed to be an urban legend, that everyone fears and no one can confirm exists.
so why would he join the jla? why would he give that up?
he’s always saying he can’t be like superman and be nice to people because he isn’t superman, he’s human and therefore mortal, and if no one feared him, he’d be killed in a second.
so association with an internationally recognized organization is just what he should avoid to keep his status.
what made him decide to do it?

if you have any comic books you could suggest to help me understand better, that would be a great help. thanks.

The main reason he join was to keep an eye out on everybody. His Bat-cave could only handle a small part of the world so when he took that into consideration he decided to join and let go of his urban legend status.
He mainly wanted to keep an eye out on Bad guys but also wanted to formulate plans to stop any Justice League member in case they went berserk.

Batman Villans?

I'm trying to write my own Batman fanfiction, and I'm trying to keep it true to the official storyline. I understand that overtime in Batman some characters have been killed off, come back from the dead, or certain writers have changed a few things here and there. So to avoide confusion I must ask what is the current status of the following Batman villans in the official DC universe. Are they deceased, detained, retired, active, or what?

Mr. Freeze
Poison Ivy
Bane
Two Face
Scarecrow
Jason Todd/Red Hood
Arthur Brown/Cluemaster
The Riddler
Bane
Black Mask
Hush/Thomas Elliot
Ras isn't coming back from the grave (again) unitl November. And everyone knows that the Joker is active (can you picture batman without the Joker) The Mad hatter I have no intention of using because he isn't exactly the kind of villan who fits the bill for what I'm going to write.

Considering that DC quite often publishes Batman graphic novels outside of the continuity of the regular Batman series, I wouldn't worry too much about the current status of the villains. They even have multiple Batman comic books series that work off of different timelines and styles running at the same time, so I don't think you need to worry about that too much.

Also, you seem to be missing the Joker, Clayface, the Mad Hatter, and Ra's Al Ghul off your list, unless you didn't plan on using them.
