Batman Story Order?

Well, we had the original batmans like Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Batman and Robin, all of those. But then Batman Begins comes up. And then the Dark Knight. My concern is:

A) What is the order as far as the story comes into play?
B) Why does the JOKER come back? Does it have any relation to the original Batman movie and that Joker?

I think you had the original movies and then someone came along and wanted to remake them so they made the Batman Begins to start off and then figured Joker was the best character to remake so decided to make another movie with him only as a remake instead of a sequel…

But what is it really?

The three old ones are just that, old ones. They will not have anything to do with this new series, I believe.

They basically wanted to start over, with Batman Begins being the first one, and now The Dark Night being the second one. I have no idea what the third one will be about though.

Of course, this is just my educated guess in all of that though!
